We had a great time this weekend and Tripp especially had a blast. Friday we went to Tripp's cousin, Sadie's, softball game. He loves watching them play softball but he also loves to run around and hit his ball. Ever since he went to Sadie's first game he's been very interested in T Ball and is constantly wanting to play it.
Saturday we hung around at home. Tripp helped his friend down the street wash his dad and mom's car. He had so much fun. If you ever need to keep a little boy happily busy for several hours give him a bucket of soapy water, a rag or sponge, a hose, and a car. Saturday morning was the first time I'd run outside in a few weeks and it was so HOT I thought I was going to fall over. I think if I'm going to run outside it needs to be around 6am or before the sun comes up. I thought Atlanta was hot but it gets really hot here too. I remember last year when we moved in it was 104 degrees outside and I was pregnant and miserable. Before we moved here for some reason I thought I was getting away from the really hot weather and going to a milder climate...I was wrong. Due to naps we didn't get to go to the petting zoo or the neighborhood pool like we'd originally planned but we brought a little splash pool into our back yard. We've had the pool for a year and a half and have never opened it. Although Tripp's a little old for it he still had so much fun.

That night we went to Tripp's favorite restaurant, Red Robin. He goes nuts when we go there so he was very excited.Last but not least we went and saw Thomas the Train in a little town named Baldwin City. We got to ride Thomas and touch him and meet Sir Topham Hatt, and there was Thomas stuff everywhere and Tripp was in heaven. For some reason he's obsessed with railroad crossings so he made me take a picture of him in front of one.
