Heaven for Kids

A majority of this trip to Atlanta was spent in "heaven for kids" otherwise known as my parents backyard. My parents have finally decided to take advantage of their entire backyard. In addition to the finished portion of the yard they have added a pond (which the kids love to throw rocks into...Dad's not too happy his stone bank is now at the bottom of the pond), fire pit (which the kids will love come fall and winter), sand trap (aka Tripp's sand pit), putting green, various trails and more, extending back to the tennis court. We have nothing like this where we live in KS so both kids love it and can't get enough. It's great but the only problem is the mosquitos. My parents have had the yard sprayed several times but it's rained and apparently either they need to spray again or the mosquitos will just come alive from the dead and find Tripp. Nobody has gotten bites except poor Tripp whom I think all strangers mistake for a child with chicken pox (I counted 26 pox tonight and that doesn't count what's underneath his clothes). Anyway, here are a few pics from the weekend (all from the backyard...no Tripp does not ride in cars without a carseat).
