Update!

Well here we are...35 w 1 d along and in the homestretch! I cannot believe it's almost time (again) for the big day! So exciting but I'm still a little anxious, maybe because I have two other kids that need to be cared for? Or maybe a little anxious about what life will be like once Charlotte & I are home from the hospital and we will have 3 kids under the age of 4? It will most definitely be an adventure (one that I'm looking forward to) but amidst the madness I have to appreciate everyday because before I know it they'll be in college and I'll be wishing I could go back in time to today!

I went to the dr today and she checked for any "progress". This pregnancy has been much different than the last two so I thought she would tell me I'm shut up tight but I was pleasantly surprised with a 1+ dilation, 60% effacement, very very soft, measuring almost 35 weeks, and Charlotte is very much head down. So that was exciting news for me! 1 1/2 cm closer to 10! My ultrasound is next Monday and dates will also be decided next Monday so I'll keep you posted!

My mom's visit went well and as soon as she left we had "Mr Scott" & "Miss Anne" out for another visit from Chicago. Tripp was sick the entire time they were here so Anne and I didn't get out much (sorry Anne). T.J. and Scott got away to a KU Basketball game. We all enjoyed their visit and hopefully next time they visit I'll be a tad less exhausted with no sick kids and able to go out on the town!

So basically the posting has been almost nonexistent because of illnesses (again). My asthmatic bronchitis is almost nonexistent and as soon as I started to feel better Tripp was sick and still getting over a little congestion and as of today Jack is sick (let's hope and pray it's not the flu). Other than that the boys are doing well. Jack is really becoming his own little person. He loves attention and almost everyone he sees! He's talking more, loves puzzles and is obsessed with books. If I would, he would sit with me all day to read books. Tripp is also going through another stage that's so cute. He is going through another stage where I feel like he's really maturing and he's just so funny. He thinks he's so old. Now he's into taking movies on the video camera while he narrates like "today is (insert date); can you say hi to the camera mama? this is jack. he's silly. say hi jack." It's so cute. I must say having children is unbelievable and being a mom is so rewarding (and a job I enjoy everyday). T.J. and I both feel so blessed to have such wonderful children.
