ATL

Upon arrival we went straight from the airport to Lovett because Aunt Minnie insisted we drop by between teaching and afterschool. I think I have been once since we graduated and it looks incredible...just incredible. Tripp met Minnie's class and played awhile. I don't think he wanted to leave.

While in Atlanta, Tripp decided he would really start to like dogs (makes me feel extremely guilty for not having one but that's not something I'm willing to take on at the moment)...
He of course is obsessed with Maggie...

He loved Meg's PRECIOUS maltipoo puppy, Suzy, that Minnie babysat one weekend (OMG don't you want her?!). None of us could get enough of her!

He loved Uncle Joel's lab, Angel, and went swimming with her several times. He played with Aunt Barbara's dogs Penny and Abby (no pics).

Last but certainly not least, there was Britain, Bec & Emerson's black lab. Tripp and Brit became BFFAEAE. There were no kids Tripp's age at the playgroup (thanks for ALL the playgroups Bec & Em) so Tripp decided to bond with Brit...running, racing, playing in the sand, petting, laughing. Jack enjoyed her too!

Thursday, Emerson invited us over for playgroup with Walker.

Everyone loved playing outside- the kids loved the toys and I loved the friends and good wine. Tripp really took to Britain & Emerson and Jack loved watching Walker.

Oh almost forgot...another favorite part for myself AND Tripp was watching Bec gracefully ride the zipline.

Saturday Tripp went swimming at Uncle Joel's house with Pop. We also got a visit from Unc. All my kids LOVE Unc. Like a 3rd grandfather. He saw Charlotte for the first time, played with the boys and talked about tools, and couldn't leave without giving the kids a ride in his convertible in the back yard.

Sunday, Daddy came to town and Aunt Say came home from Italy! The boys were so happy to see both of them! That day Unc, Susannah, Old Grandma, and "Granny Vick" came in town. Tripp, Pop, & Susannah went swimming...twice... at Cherokee and came back for a cookout to celebrate Say's homecoming & graduation. Granny Vick helped out lots with Charlotte and the boys had a blast...again...with Unc.

Monday was spent at the Cherokee pool again with Pop, Daddy, Jack, & Tripp, and hanging out at home, mostly in the backyard.

Tuesday was the big day! Say graduated from Holy Spirit! Kinda makes me feel old...I won't be able to say I have a sister in high school anymore!

Believe it or not, Tripp slept through the whole ceremony until I woke him up when everyone was leaving the reception.

We then headed over the Say's graduation party at LaPaz...yum. So much fun- we saw lots of friends and family! There was definitely not a dull moment for Charlotte! She took the attention very well. Aunt Minnie said she'd never seen Tripp & Jack so happy. Glad everyone had fun...and the margaritas were gooood.

Just a few of the people we got to see...

Lauren...Aunt Andrea...Kelly...
Unca Joel...Tessa & Evie......
the Sleeths...Lauren,Zachary&Kathryn...
Bryson (now & then)...
Julie...Grace...Liz & Ms Carol...Sharon & Kelly...

We Love You and are so proud of you!!

Wednesday...day of rest. Boi was pretty tired!

That night Kelly was gracious enough to welcome us into her house for dinner. We love your new house and had so much fun at dinner!

Thursday was another day outside... we enjoyed the slip & slide!

We also enjoyed the sprinklers and got a visit from Christina and Nana, Old Grandma, and Barbara & Liz!

Friday, Easley, little Shep, and little Miss Caroline came over...the first meeting for Caroline (4 months) and little Shep (2 weeks).

Easley and Jack are about the same age and had fun. All the kids are such cute little fritters!

We then headed over to Bec's again to play with Missy & Andy. Such a sweet little guy!

Tad hot though.

Here's a picture taken Friday night...Pop lighting torches in the backyard...right before lighting the fire in the firepit...right before the fire blew up in his face. LUCKILY...I dont know HOW....no burns.

Saturday was spent packing- the kids for the flight back to KS and Say for Kanakuk. Nobody wanted Sunday to come...but it did...and we headed off to the airport. Thanks so much to everyone in Atlanta that was so sweet to the kids, and especially Boi, Pop, Minnie, and Say, because you always make each visit so fun and special.
