Since Disney...

We've been busy the past week since returning home. We were all SO happy to get home and get back into the swing of things! Tripp was so tired he slept the entire flight home (uncalled for if you know him and his sleeping habits)!

Last weekend we took the kids to the T-Rex Cafe. We had not been since August and both kids loved it. Jack even loved the "disses". It's a great place to eat- both kids were completely entertained by the dino decor (and Tripp was terrified by the large hopper that was directly above his head so he kept a close eye on it the entire time to make sure it didn't jump on him).

We all dug for dino bones after dinner and explored the caves. Overall it was a huge hit and tough to get the kids to leave but we should be back soon. This restaurant is now being built in Downtown Disney so if it's open the next time you go to Disney it's worth a visit!

Now onto my little (BIG) baby Jack. My what a difference a month can make. First off he's strictly walking now which is the cutest to watch. Many people may think it's more difficult for a mom once this happens but right now it's made things much easier because he can hold my hand and walk with me rather than being carried. According to the dr's scales he's about 30 lbs now so it's not too fun carrying that weight around all day!

Since we went to Atlanta Jack has really become his own person. He's more like a little boy than a baby! Sad (for me) but lots of fun! He's putting together puzzles...he's got his favorite toys he loves to play with (car carrier and tool bench)...he's saying so many things now and can (and does) let me know what he does and does not want...he can understand more of what we say and will obey if we ask him to do something...he loves making dinosaur and animal noises...he's walking everywhere...eats everything in sight and from a plate! yep he no longer automatically tosses it over- he actually eats from it...he tries to hold his own with his big brother and one of the biggest changes- he LOVES EVERYONE! For awhile it was me and only me and boy was it hard. He wants each and every stranger and family member to love him, he wants all the attention (and fights his brother for it), and gets so excited when he sees people or things he's familiar with. It's just so fun to see him grow into himself and get such a strong personality. It's like it all happened overnight! He's such a great little guy- such a little cuddle bug!

As for our little "Rip" he's becoming quite the sweet big brother...both to Jack and Charlotte. He is always talking about his Charlotte and I'm very interested to see how he reacts once she's actually here. He was too young to really understand what was going on when Jack arrived and I think he is understanding better about this baby. I think he may end up being a bit possessive of her. He also seems very excited about having Jack go to his school starting this coming summer. Now that Jack can walk and actually play/interact more it's a lot of fun seeing them together. Lately Tripp's been such a loving little boy. He has been helping me clean, he's becoming more responsible, and seems to be growing and maturing in front of my eyes!

As for Charlotte...she is growing (and so am I) everyday! I feel her all the time and I feel like I look as if I'm going to deliver! Last night I slept through the night-first time in a loooong time I haven't had to get up during the night. I was shocked when I woke up and realized it was after 6am! Such a good feeling. We cannot believe I'm almost in week 31! Time flies and she's going to be here before we know i1t
