We then made our way across the street to Union Station where we revisited the rail exhibit. Tripp was convinced he and Minns drove the train on exhibit, and that he barely got it to stop so he could join us elsewhere. Jack enjoyed walking through and around all the trains.

We then visited Science City where everyone dug for dino bones, saw snakes, played with bubbles, rode a helicopter (definitely up there on Tripp's list), made clouds, played a little golf, and played at the H2O table.

That night Minnie and I took Tripp to his first official movie. We opted for Alvin but should have gone with Veggietales...and maybe a few hours earlier. He did well overall. The movie started around 7pm (when he's usually in bed asleep) and I thought maybe he'd do OK since he took a long late nap but he was ready for bed around 8 and got annoyed with the folding seats. He still talks about going to the movies with us and talks about going to see Pixar's Wall*E this summer after repeatedly watching the previews/trailers so I guess overall it was a positive experience for him.

Yes that is a pashmina- he insisted on wearing it as a leash...anything to keep him happy sometimes.
We had lots of fun this weekend and hope Minnie returns VERY soon! You are still on Tripp's mind throughout the day because he talks about you often! Jack even says your name randomly...I guess you made quite the impression! You are more than welcome to come give me another small break whenever you want!
