New Shoes!

We got the kids new shoes this weekend... now I'm sure you're thinking "no big deal" but to Jack, who has only had the pleasure of wearing tennis shoes, this was huge. He got his first pair of Crocs, decked out with Jibbitz, and his first pair of Reef flip flops. T.J. and I both thought he would HATE wearing both of them but he loved them both...couldn't get enough of them. I think he loved the Crocs because of all the Jibbitz and I think he loved the Reefs because they're shoes yet you can still see the toes. He just walked around our house looking down at his feet the whole time (memba when you were a kid and got new shoes and did that?!) while at the same time bumping into various things. We could not get Tripp a new pair of crocs due to size issues but he got his new pair of Reefs- same as last year except this year there is no backstrap so he also walked around with his toes curled under trying to get used to wearing them. The following video will probably only be appreciated by my parents, and is slightly shaky because I'm taping while feeding Charlotte.

One Month!

It's hard to believe that a month ago yesterday Charlotte was born...my how time flies! It does not seem like a month has already passed. She's been smiling at me (no it's not gas I'm pretty sure they are real smiles) and it's happened several times, and she's also holding her head up like a champ. She's been a busy girl...

The following video will most certainly be enjoyed only by my parents so don't bother watching! When blogger asked me to name the video I was posting I literally named it "Charlotte doing nothing." It's really the only video I have of her that I can post!

When Tripp's away....Jack will play...peacefully

Tripp is at school today hanging out with his friends so Jack decided it was time to hang out and relax with some of his "friends"...some of you may know them...Thomas, Percy, Spencer, Henry, Molly...the whole gang was there!

Jack and I set up a pretty sweet (but simple) set of tracks this morning...he thoroughly enjoyed them
