August...

It's been so long since my last post I'm going to fly through the past THREE and a HALF months and then I'll start "regularly" posting again. We have been so busy around here! I know everyone is on different schedules but I can never find the time anymore to sit down and post, possibly because it takes me awhile to do it. Anyway, August flew by. It began with returning home from Ponte Vedra and ended with the beginning of school. By the time we got back from the beach summer school was out so everyone was here everyday....all day. Tripp also began sleeping in Jack's room (there was also a twin bed in there)- they both insisted on that and showering together. I love it and would love for them to share a room one day. Other than that we played with friends, played outside, visited the petting zoo & KC zoo several times, attended some birthday parties, and became quite close with Ella and Zoe (next door neighbors who were just as bored as us all day).

Tripp grew quite fond of dressing up- ex: Power Ranger. He adores Charlotte and Jack, and loves playing with them both. The highlight of my days is sitting back and watching all three kids interact with one another.

Looking back, Jack seemed so much smaller and more baby-like back in August! At that point he had not yet showed much interest in Charlotte. I ended up taking him out of Mothers Day Out because I didn't think he was ready for it quite yet. He has always been so outgoing and constantly excited, so it shocked me when he was bent out of shape all DAY. He loves LOVES his Imaginext Dinosaurs-the ones that growl and walk. That was in August and he is still obsessed. He wakes up talking about them, plays with them all day, sleeps with them at night. He only drinks water- like a camel

Charlotte- gosh I look back and cannot believe how much she has grown! Back in August she was 5 months, was sitting up, she had no hair!, and refused any baby food...I mean gagging and some of the worst faces! The only thing that has not changed is her disposition...she is the best, most easy going, happy baby I know. Of course I am a little biased! Sorry about all the crooked pics!
