September started off with my birthday (29...woohoo) and ended with the start of fall, football, and some great weather! Ever since I had Tripp I have hated hot weather. Fall has been my favorite season! It reminds me of getting ready for both of the boys to be born, and so many good times. And also when the pumpkins come out...we are THERE! Back in late August Tripp started preschool (REAL SCHOOL!) and Jack started Mothers Day Out- of course the only way to calm him down was to bring some of his dinosaurs to school with him. So I brought 6 or 7 dinosaurs each day to school and it worked! I think his dinosaurs have made him well liked by his "buddies" (what he calls the other little kids in his class).
The boys became inseparable. Tripp loved trying to be Jack's boss and showing him the ropes, and Jack loved the attention and companionship. Tripp still slept in Jack's room, but Jack decided he was going to start pulling himself up and falling out of his crib headfirst. He did it once...I thought it was a fluke and put him back in thinking "he's fairly smart...he won't do THAT again"...two seconds later BAM...so I put up the other twin bed and they both sleep in Jack's room. I even found them asleep together one night- the cutest thing ever. Of course I took 25 pictures, which all looked the same, so I posted one.
Charlotte...all smiles all the time. She began using the walker, she loves playing with Tripp- who treats her so good, had a new favorite toy (thank you mom), started sleeping/cuddling with her doll from Aunt Sarah, and grew a few hairs so of COURSE I had to put bows in her hair! I didn't even know there were bows out there that would hold 5 hairs!
