October...

WOW what a busy BUSY month. October is always so hectic! We have both of the boys birthdays, Halloween, and a ton of birthday parties to go to.

This month we carved a pumpkin...of course Tripp chose a spider and spider web to carve...it took awhile. And he was so excited about carving a pumpkin I gave in the first week of October and of course the pumpkin ended up rotting soon after. Tripp was not happy.
Tripp was so excited about carving his pumpkin...you can see the progression from happiness to WHAT I DONT WANT TO STICK MY HAND IN THERE (I told him he couldn't say he carved a pumpkin unless he stuck his hand in and cleaned some of it out) to nasty and then....

he thought a little outside of the box and came up with his own solution...

We toasted pumpkin seeds...

We went to the apple cider mill...

Jack finally realized he had a little sister, and all of a sudden adores her and loves to play with her. It's funny watching them both talk babble baby talk to one another. Jack's vocabulary expanded tremendously and he started saying long sentences...we knew he had it in him and it just all came out and he doesn't stop!

We also had our fair share of hanging out with friends- to name a few...

We played with MacKenzie and Zoe a lot and went Trick or Treating with them...

We went to the pumpkin patch with Declan (Tripp's friend) and Finley (Jack's "buddy")...

We enjoyed Zoe and Ella from next door (sorry about all these crooked pics)...

We enjoyed having Jack S. (new big brother) over and giving his Mommy a little alone time with little newborn Trent...

Happy 2nd Birthday Jack! Minnie and Say Say came in town to celebrate since they had fall break- we loved having them! They are quite entertaining! We had a family party with them and T.J.'s family. Jack did not really understand the whole concept and did not care too much for presents (except SPIKE the ultra dinosaur of course) but LOVED THE CAKE...

Charlotte...a little over 6/7 months I tried baby food again- she liked it and LOVES cheerios! She gets so excited for Cheerios! Cheerios and goldfish...the only table food she will eat. She loves getting attention and her little personality is really starting to shine through!

Happy 4th Birthday Tripp! Boi came for a week during Tripp's birthday and Halloween and Pop came for Halloween and Tripp's "Friends" birthday party (in November). We really enjoyed having them- so much fun! Tripp woke up on his birthday ready to go! We had his family party (spiderman of course) and he loved it. The boys and their cousins especially loved the candy from the pinata. Right now he's into Power Rangers, Star Wars, Transformers, HeMan (can you believe it?!?), and anything related to space or science. It is so funny how he's into the same stuff people my age were into when we were kids. I've never seen a kid rip through presents. He tears thru them, then lines them all up and sees what he's got. Very strange and frustrating for me because it's hard for me to tell who gave him what!

The next day we had Grandma's birthday (Tripp missed that by about an hour!)...

Then everyone in Tripp's class dressed up for Halloween and had their Halloween parade. They all thought it was so fun! Tripp dressed up as a fireman, Will was the policeman, Jack was the Power Ranger, and Declan was spiderman.

Of course Tripp & Jack chose to have another birthday dinner with my parents at T-Rex cafe.

On Halloween my parents were here. We started off the afternoon with Sadie and Tommy. Then we went to Zoe and MacKenzie's house to trick or treat with a group of kids. Then we moved onto our neighborhood. Tripp decided against the firefighter outfit and opted for the transformer; Jack was a cow; and Charlotte was a butterfly.

This will be the end of posting tonight! November will have to wait until the end of this month because we are heading to Atlanta tomorrow and won't be back until the day after Thanksgiving. Think of me tomorrow morning because I will be flying alone with the three kids (T.J. is coming Tuesday). If you don't hear from me...I didn't make it.
I thought this picture of Jack was funny...
