Thanksgiving in the Atl

The Holidays are flying by and Thanksgiving already seems like a blur! Flying solo to Atlanta with the three kids went fine, although it's quite the task to keep Jack sitting in his seat. He always wants to move around. The toughest part is always getting on the plane- once that's over it's smooth sailing.Thanksgiving in Atlanta was fantastic- so good to see and spend time with my parents, sisters, and extended family. In addition to spending time with the fam I also took it upon myself to completely clean out and reorganize my parents pantry, laundry room and kitchen. Let's just say...it was interesting, and LONG overdue. To give you an idea- I found spices in the dark corners of the pantry that expired in '82 (which means they were probably bought when I was in the womb); in the laundry room I found my school phonebook from when I was in Kindergarten at Holy Innocents; I found lava rocks from my parents honeymoon. It took awhile, but we're all glad it's over. My mother has issues with and feels guilt over tossing things from the past, so she recruited me to do the job (I have no guilt over getting rid of the stuff that doesn't really matter). Luckily for T.J., there were basketball games that were to be attended so he got out of the cleaning. We did not have any time to see many people other than family over Thanksgiving so hopefully we will be able to see more people when we return after Christmas.

I swear Jack could pass for Mary's son

We will be heading back to Atlanta after Christmas because my Gama turns 90 on 1/3! That will be a birthday to celebrate! She's got to be the kindest, most caring person I know so I am determined to make her feel very special :)
